Kawasaki Other description

Up for bid is a 1983 Kawasaki 750 Spectre. This is the first bike I have ever owned and thoroughly enjoyed it. It does run but needs some starter work and a tune up. It has a 4 cylinder motor. Shaft Drive. It needs some cosmetic repair that I probably should have done when I bought it but did not have the time or expertise to complete. Tires are in decent shape. It has a custom backrest. I have never dropped this bike, but it was purchased used from a dealership who did not have details of previous owners. The front turn signals have been replaced with aftermarket LED signals. The originals were broken. This may make someone a great restore project as the Spectre is not a very common bike. This is also listed locally. Winning bidder is responsible for pick up. Designed to inspire addiction Kawasaki would like to think it knows its customer possibly better than they know themselves, and anyone invested in bringing new riders into the sport understands the importance of setting them up for success. A new rider’s first steed should be approachable, forgiving, playful, price-conscious, and cool. Kawasaki has set out to offer the perfect bike on all fronts, and in my opinion, they have succeeded.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
