Kawasaki Other description

Up for sale is my 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 A1 that is all stock and has been a daily rider this summer.  The paint is all original and in very good shape. Small area or brake fluid splatter on right front of tank- see pic.  Inside of tank has been cleaned. The ignition system has been updated with a pointless elect. ignition system that works great.  Stock intake system- period turn out pipes for exhaust.  Chrome is in great shape all around.  Fork tubes have a few spots of pitting above the travel or seal line. Seat has been re-covered. I believe I am the third owner- bought it last winter and cleaned it up. It had been sitting in a garage for years.   Recent work this past summer includes:

New chain and sprockets
New tires
New S.S. brake lines, rebuilt master cylinders and calipers, new pads.
All electrical has been gone through and all is working.
Carbs rebuilt with new needles, seats, jets etc.  Stock jets.
Valves adjusted, Oil changed
New intake rubber boots
New front fork seals and oil
New battery

Engine runs strong and starts right up.  Good compression- no smoke in exhaust.  Bike comes with the original owners manual, back luggage rack with sissy bar.  For the BUY IT NOW price you will also get the original factory Vetter full fairing with mounting system that was on the bike and the engine crash bar with highway pegs.

Buyer is totally responsible for transportation of the bike from my house via pick it up or have it shipped. I will help where I can.  The bike is ready to ride so you could fly out and drive back if you like.  Local airport is Redmond, Or..(RDM)

Played: SBK 2011

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

The nerves are rising as I sit upon a factory Ducati on the grid at the final round of the WSB championship lined-up against the best riders in the World, the lights are about go out to decide winner… The reality however, is I've been working on my arse groove in the couch, in a darkened room with the remnants of last nights takeaway playing on SBK 2011. SBK 2011 is the next extension in the bike racing game series. The two major modes in the game are the standard career and the SBK Tour.

The Japanese fantasized about the new Kawasaki Ninja 250

Sun, 25 Dec 2016

The small sportbike was last updated in 2013, but the next update is just around the corner. The Japanese magazine Young Machine has published a hypothetical (or, who knows, very likely) image of the new generation Kawasaki Ninja 250, which will appear at the end of next year or in 2018. The render is intriguing: according to it, the younger “ninja” can get a “birdcage” frame and a “changeling” fork.

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

Need something to do on August Bank Holiday weekend, then read below: "Although the South West Motorcycle Show has been running at the Westpoint Arena for the last sixteen years, 2010 is the first year that the show hosts the all-new Vertical Trix European Stunt Championship. The show contains all the usual attractions that have been delivered to motorcyclists from over the south-west and further afield since 1994 – including all the appropriate trade stands, and with strong support from local dealers – plus attractions such a a dyno on site, restaurant, bar, bike displays, live music and of course the live action arena. Although the action in the show arena has previously been stunt displays, rather than a full-on competition.
