I have a 1977 ke250 2 stroke for sale. I bought with the intention to fix it up but I moved on to some four wheelers I bought. It runs and drives but needs work, mostly the fact that its old. It currently doesnt run because the gas tank is rusted out and leaks. 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.
Record Number of Entrants (Sort of) for 2012 Isle of Man TT Zero
Mon, 23 Apr 2012Mark Miller, seen here aboard the MotoCzysz electric race bike, won the 2010 TT Zero. Team Segway Racing MotoCzysz will again return to the TT Zero with past TT Zero winners Mark Miller and Michael Rutter as its riders in the 2012 race. The Isle of Man TT press office today announced a total of 18 entrants in the 2012 SES TT Zero electric motorcycle race — a record number of riders according to the IoM TT website.
