Kawasaki Other description

I bought this bike last year with the expectation of riding it. Health issues have changed my plans. It's a great example of the twin. It was not running when I got it, but in excellent condition for a 40 year old bike.   I cleaned the carbs and re-set the points and it started right up. Now for the list of things after that. Replaced the head gasket. New points and condenser. New speedo and tach cables.  K&N air filter. New fork seals and steering head bearings. New Bridgestone BT45 tires. Rebuilt the front and rear brakes. New dual exhaust system. NOS seat purchased. The fuel tank was replaced with a take-off with no rust. New petcock. Rebuilt the starter clutch. I rode the bike at a Rally a few weeks ago and it was great.

I can deliver the bike to either the Detroit, Port Huron or Buffalo Border. I will assist in any way I can with shipping beyond that.
Being so old, it is easy to import with only 1 form to fill out.
I will be going to Barber in Alabama in October and could deliver the bike at the track.

One form # 7501  needs to be filled out with your local customs office and it can be registered in the USA.

The seat chrome is peeling off.( 40 years old)...

2014 AMA Supercross – St. Louis Results

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Don’t look now, but James Stewart is the hottest rider in the AMA Supercross Championship. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider won his third consecutive race and series-leading fifth victory of the season. But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.

Showdown: 2021 Honda CRF300L Vs 2021 Kawasaki KLX300

Entry-level, exit-level, and all points in between Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield; Video by: Sean Matic | Videos by Sean Matic Honda’s first CL72 250 Scrambler was lashed to the bumper of many a Conestoga wagon as it made its way westward, and I’m pretty sure it was a Kawasaki KLX300 that I wheelied over backwards, circa 1997, that really dampened my enthusiasm for stunting. At least Honda’s had the decency to change its nomenclature over the years to give the impression of evolution. Kawasaki is standing pat with the 292 cc Single that’s powered its KLX since 1996, along with its KLX nomenclature.
