AN ORIGINAL 1976 KD100 MINI. GREAT LITTLE SURVIVOR. ITS PRETTY FAST FOR A MINI. STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS GREAT. I WOULD SAY BIKE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THIS BIKE HAS NOT BEEN SITTING AROUND SO IT HAS TYPICALL WEAR IN TEAR FOR A 40 YEAR OLD BIKE. SOME PITTING ON THE FORKS, SCRATCHES ON TANK AND SEAT IS STARTING TO SHOW ITS AGE. I HAVEN'T DONE ANY WORK OR MODIFICATIONS TO THIS BIKE OTHER THAN ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. . IM SECOND OWNER. THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SEE THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN REPLACED IS THE PITCOCK. The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.
