Kawasaki Other description

Pretty much all original except for a few add ons. Seat replaced, Vance Hines exhaust, stretched frame. My step father used to race in his early days and knew his stuff. Did all the maintenance himself. Unfortunately I'm not a bike guy and would rather be on 4 wheels. I am aware of the history of these bikes, and would like to see it go to someone who'd appreciate it. NO LEMON HERE!!!!!

Old Dog, New Tricks: Tackling The LA-Barstow To Vegas Dual-Sport Ride

Mon, 05 Dec 2022

Joining the 39th running of the famed event on a Ducati DesertX and a Kawasaki KLX300 Credit: Photos by Cait Maher, Evans Brasfield, Grumpy, and Ryan Adams Let’s be honest, dual-sport motorcycles aren’t really designed for touring, despite my best efforts ( here and here). The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.

2013 Ninjas in New York

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
