I completely restored this bike a couple years ago and its been sitting in my shop covered ever since. The bike was completely taken down the frame and painted parts taken down to bare metal and painted with PJ1 frame paint. The engine was completely disassembled inspected and rebuilt. There was no frame damage and the bike has never been down to my knowledge. The bike starts nice and runs and drives and shifts very nice. There are no oil leaks and the bike is like new very close to show quality. The small owners manual is in fair condition for its age. There is no tool kit . The bike has 5 miles on it and needs to be broken in like a brand new bike. The original exhaust is all thats missing for it to be %100 original and complete. The 4 into 1 exhaust thats on there now I believe is an old school Yoshimura pipe in decent shape.The frame # is Z1F-065202 and the engine is Z1E-065429 and the build date is 12/74 and is a matching #s bike. Mon, 17 Feb 2014Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.
2013 AMA Supercross Atlanta Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.
Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
