Up for bid is a 1975 KZ-900 Chopper. Clean and clear title. Runs great, is very fast, and a blast to ride! If show chrome and fresh paint is your thing, this might not be the bike for you! it's got just the right amount of patina to it without looking like a total P.O.S....

SPECS:
- FRAME- Original frame has been hardtailed with a 2" stretch in the rear/ tig welded/ all useless tabs removed/ clean and clear title to match the numbers on the neck, no hassles with registering as special construction etc...
- MOTOR- All stock except for pods/ a little crusty but not too bad (previous owner some time ago sprayed it black and didnt do a great job/ engine covers are corroded a little etc./ but the motor runs great without any smoking or strange noises and thats what really matters, right?!..
- FRONT END- Custom made 7/8 3 1/2" tall narrow Z bars made from .120 thick DOM tubing and tig welded/ front fork legs have been shaved of all tabs and lowered three inches/ 21" D.I.D front wheel with new avon speedmaster tire/ New fork seals and oil/ top triple tree shaved of tabs/ new motion pro throttle and cable/ new shorty clutch lever and cable/ new black jammer grips/ 4 1/2" headlight tucked in tight with a new 12v amber bulb...
- TANK- Original harley 883 tank - scratched up and black primered in spots but no dents/ lined with P.O.R 15/ new petcock and lines
- SEAT - Rich Phillips distressed brown leather seat/ 2" harpin springs/ custom made hinge..
- REAR FENDER - 1936 ford spare tire ring/ scratches - nice patina - no dents
- REAR WHEEL - Old 16" harley rim laced to stock hub - a little rusty and crusty/ double white wall tire with 90% tread left/ New EK Chain...
- EXHAUST- Old mac drag pipes/ a little rusty and crusty...
- WIRING -all new wiring/ignition key/fuses etc. housed in a custom compact battery- electrics box combo/ new sealed agm battery...all tucked away cleanly at the rear of the motor..
- CUSTOM BITS - all fender brackets/mounts etc. are all done using nice bungs etc. and tig welded/ custom brake stay etc./ side mount plate with chrome bullet tail light/ custom skateboard wheel chain tensioner..
- CARBS- New pods/ jetted for pods and exhaust...
This bike has a very low and agressive stance but with still alot of ground clearance so you can rip turns with ease, this is a very fun and fast bike to ride, all it needs is a new owner...

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for ABS Modulator Issue
Thu, 25 Jul 2013As we expected, a manufacturing error for a Nissin anti-lock brake modulator has led to a recall in the U.S. for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. (UPDATE: Transport Canada has also issued a recall for 745 units, in addition to the 1,083 units recalled in the U.S.) Kawasaki had already issued a recall in Japan for ABS-equipped versions of the 2013 Ninja 250, so it was no surprise that the 300, which uses nearly all of the same parts, would fall victim to the recall as well.
