1974 Kawasaki F7 , Two Kawasaki F7 motorcycles for sale or trade: 1971 Kawasaki F7 175 - Red motorcycle modified to be more of a dirt bike 1974 Kawasaki F7 175 - Grey motorcycle is a single owner (my father) and has 753 original miles Both bikes are unbelievably clean and have been garage kept for the life of the bikes. Both bikes will start and run, although they haven't been rode in 35 years. Carburetor and petcocks have both been rebuilt. Carbs need choke, throttle and idle adjustment, yet again they start up and sound great. The grey bike is as clean as any I have ever seen. Lots of new spare parts.... brand new levers, brake cable, UNI air filters, gaskets, battery, on and on..... Looking for a good home! Bikes are listed at $2400 for the pair. Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans
Wed, 09 May 2012NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.
2011-2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Recalled for Crankcase Oil Leak
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2011 and 2012 Ninja ZX-10R due to a potential oil leak in the crankcase. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, engine oil may leak from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R‘s crankcase from a machined area where the starter is mounted. Leaked oil may pool on top of the crank case and, under continued use, spill onto the rear tire, reducing traction and increasing the risk of a crash.
