Kawasaki Other description

1971 Kawasaki H1. This is an unrestored survivor bike. They're only original once and this once has been taken care of. I was told the original owner of this bike rode it in the Road America Race back in the day, but don't have any documentation. Original paint shines and looks great for a 45 year old bike. No dents anywhere. The pipes are solid but have some staining (mainly on the left pipe). Chrome on the rims, forks, headlight is all nice. Seat has a few stains but no rips I can see. The bike starts and runs but could use tuning (bogs off of choke). Pickup is Merrillville, Indiana 46410. I will ship, but shipping must be paid and arranged by buyer. Please see photo's and feel free to ask questions 219-702-6198.  $500 paypal deposit due at close of auction.

Please due not bid if you are unable to buy. Bidders with a rating under 10 must contact me prior to bidding or else their bids will be cancelled.

Watch the Kawasaki J Concept Transform – Video

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The transforming Kawasaki J Concept was one of the highlights of the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, thanks to its futuristic styling that was like a cross between a Tron Lightcycle and the Batpod from Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy. The electric three-wheeler is unlikely to enter full production, but it is nice to see some outrageous concept models again. The J Concept was primarily produced to showcase Kawasaki‘s GIGACELL high-capacity nickel-metal hydride battery technology, but the most dramatic feature is the concept’s ability to transform.

The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.

2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results

Mon, 14 Jul 2014

Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
