Kawasaki Ninja description
2010 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R Sportbike Ninja 1000cc, 4 cyl engine continues to crank out the kind of straight shortening power. That leaves other liter bikes in its wake. Very compact, narrow and lightweight design makes it possible to position The engine perfectly within the chassis for optimal weight distribution 1 piece upper crankcase and cylinder casting saves weight and offers max rigidity Oil is routed through channels milled into the cases on various parts of the engine, Eliminating external oil lines and reducing weight Stacked, triangular layout of crank axis, input shaft and output shaft reduces engine length And aids mass centralization for quick handling Lightweight crankshaft maintains the same inertial moment as a heavier design But saves about 2lbs compared to a conventional crank Low friction oil pump reduction ratio reduces parasitic power loss Qualified buyers may be eligible for Financing, Nationwide Shipping and Extended Warranty.

2014 WSBK – Assen Results
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
EICMA 2011: Kawasaki Versys 1000 Not Coming to U.S.
Wed, 09 Nov 2011While Kawasaki unveiled its Versys 1000 at EICMA, don’t expect to see it on American roadways any time soon (edit: but if you live north of the border in Canada you’re in luck, as it will offered for CN$13,999, a bit higher than the Z1000 but the same price as the Ninja 1000): What will we be missing? A bigger, badder version of the original Kawasaki Versys seems to be the answer. “Created as the long-awaited big brother of Kawasaki’s mid-size any-road street surfer, the new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations,” Kawasaki Motors Europe says in a release.
