This is a beautiful black Ninja 250 street bike. It was purchased used in mid 2012 by my daughter as a starter bike but she quickly lost interest in riding.
It is a great starter bike, with enough power for the road, but light enough to manage easily. It is in great shape except for the two minor items listed above-the right signal was repaired and the windshield has an area of "fog" likely due to an abrasive cleaner used inadvertantly.We added a Throttlemeister this past summer, which allows the bike to remain at highway speed without holding the throttle (see photo).

Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.
Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
