Kawasaki Ninja description

I am selling a Brand New 2012 Kawasaki Ninja EX250. This is directly from the dealer, with two miles on it! It has a warranty through Kawasaki until 11/21/2014 too!! I won this in a local auction, and I do not need this bike. Buy this for wayyyyyyyy less than a 2013 / 2014 model. (It's the same bike too!!) This is a new bike and will cost you a lot less!!!! A new EX250 is $4000 + tax, tags, destination charges, etc... So you are looking at paying at least $4500 at a dealer!! I'm only asking $3800 O.B.O. (And I will help with the taxes) :) :) :) - NEW MOTORCYCLE- 0 miS ! - PERFECT CONDITION You won't find a better deal on a Brand New Ninja EX250 anywhere !!! This is your chance to get it cheap before Spring time, when it will sell for much more!!! I do not wish to ship the bike, so please don't ask me to. (If you have to ship it, you will have to pay for it and it wouldn't save you any money)Call me with any questions or to set up a time to see the bike: (10am to 10pm only please) Matt (484) 357-XXXX The bike is located in Bethlehem, PA 18017. $500.00 Deposit via paypal is due at auction end, and the remainder of money due in cash at the time of pick-up of the motorcycle. (Title will be transferred at that time at the local notary as well)Thanks for looking...

Put a sting in your 2010 Z1000's tail

Fri, 19 Feb 2010

SCORPION has released an all-new new silencer for the 2010 Kawasaki Z1000.   The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note.  This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
