Kawasaki Ninja description

Clean and well maintained 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS with extras:

1) Sargeant Seat ($350 cost) ---nice and comfortable for long rides. Also have factory OEM seat

2) Factory Panniers/hard cases with brackets ($1400 package) . Once you live with these, you don't want a bike without them. Very convenient for groceries, etc..  No need to have the annoying back pack.  The side panniers will hold a full size helmet.

3) Vista cruise control mount. Manual cruise control mount.

4) Unique Reflective body work. Gets lots of compliments but also effective for people seeing you at night.

5) Current tires have lots of few thousand miles left, but will throw in a new, uninstalled Pirelli Angel GT rear tire ($300 cost)

6) Kawasaki factory extended warranty (through 1/26/2019), unlimited mileage

7) Factory Kawasaki frame sliders for front tire and body ($300 cost)

8) Factory service manual included ($95 cost)

Love this bike!   I am getting a dual sport bike and don't have space for 2 bikes in the garage. One of few bikes that you can use on the road and the track if you want (best of both worlds). Bike has never been tracked ( I am too old). Clean title.  Florida bike and always garaged.  Never exposed to salt/ice/snow.  I am a mature rider and I always baby my vehicles.

Buyer is responsible for local pick up or shipping.  The bike is located in Palm City, FL (Zip Code 34990).

If you need shipping, I recommend Uship.com   I have had great experiences with this company:

Deposit of $1000 requested within first 48hrs. Will be happy to address any questions or concerns about the bike or purchase.

2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R First Ride

Thu, 01 Dec 2011

Loyal fans of Suzuki’s iconic Hayabusa have something to be seriously worried about. Kawasaki has overhauled its fast and smooth ZX-14, adding a bigger and more powerful engine that promises to outgun the venerable ’Busa. I just spent a day hammering the new ZX-14R In Las Vegas, beginning with a blast through the desert and ending with several runs down the quarter-mile dragstrip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Schoolboy Heroes

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets.  Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force.  At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag.  Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125.  Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park.  I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed.  What and how do I become a motocross champion?
