Kawasaki Ninja description

2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX -6R, Strike Fear into the Heart of the Competition! The new 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R marks the return of a middleweight sportbike legend, three numbers that strike fear into the heart of the competition: six...three...six. It is a tradition born of street cred and racetrack domination, a performance boost offered at the same price as the competition's regular six hundreds, and it's a machine that screams Performance Counts! The new ZX-6R honors a dominating family tradition - started ten years ago with the first 636, a revolutionary machine that blew-away the competition's 600's on the street and won races against factory 750's on the track. That category shattering DNA begins with a new 16-valve, long-stroke DOHC 636cc inline-four that's everything a top-shelf middleweight powerplant should be: torque rich, happy to rev, supremely powerful and smooth enough for everyday use. Its impressive broad-spectrum performance is ideal for everyone from stunters and street riders, to canyon carvers and racetrack junkies.

Isle of Man TT 2014: RL360 Superstock TT Results

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

Michael Dunlop won his second race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and ninth in his career, taking the RL360 Superstock TT on a BMW S1000RR. Dunlop also won the Superbike TT earlier, giving BMW its first two wins on the Isle of Man since 1939. Meanwhile, Supersport TT 1 winner Gary Johnson was injured in a crash on the opening lap while running second behind Dunlop.

Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
