Kawasaki Sponsoring World Superbike Viewing Party May 26 At Dainese D-Store Orange County

If you’re a motorcycle racing fan in Southern California, be sure to come to the Dainese D-Store Orange County on May 26 to watch the World Superbike races from Donington Park on the D-Store’s giant 9-foot TV screen. Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of KX – Video

Kawasaki is marking the 40th anniversary of its KX dirt bike lineup with a special web page and a new documentary (look for Part 1 below). The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Toronto Results

Ryan Villopoto moved one step closer to repeating as AMA Supercross Champion with his seventh win of the season at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. With his chief rivals not making the trip north of the border due to various injuries, Villopoto can clinch the 2012 championship as soon as next weekend’s race at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, if they continue to be out of action. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider has 271 points with five rounds remaining.
