2012 KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-6R, The Top Contender in the Middleweight Category Power. Speed. Handling. Dominance. The Ninja ZX -6R packs all this and more underneath its 599 cc engine, twin spar aluminum frame and advanced Showa suspension. Whether you're a street rider or a racer, this bike packs the kind of potent strength that will satisfy even the most discriminating enthusiasts. The 2012 ZX-6R carries on the tradition of middleweight dominance started back in 1985 with the revolutionary ZX600-A1 to a staggering level. And in today's ultra-competitive 600 supersport market, where technology, racetrack success and streetbike acumen can change dramatically year by year, that's saying a lot. Don't believe us? Then ask the many top-level magazines and web sites that picked the current-spec ZX-6R as Best Middleweight. It was an absolutely dominating 600 shootout performance and one sure to be replicated in 2012 due to the ZX-6R's track-honed DNA and seamless all-around capability.

FIM Releases New WSBK Rules – Updates Include Pitstops, Weight Limits and Headlight Decals
Wed, 17 Oct 2012The International Motorcycling Federation and the Superbike Racing Commission released a number of amendments to the 2013 World Superbike Championship rulebook including pitstops, fake headlights and a revised starting grid alignment. We’ve already seen the fake headlights with Kawasaki getting a jump on the new regulation earlier this season with headlight decals on Tom Sykes‘ and Loris Baz‘s ZX-10R. Starting in 2013, all superbikes will have fake headlights to resemble their homologated production models.
It's Official: Kawasaki Announces The 2023 Ninja ZX-4RR KRT
Wed, 01 Feb 2023Kawasakis latest pocket rocket will rev to over 15,000 rpm. Credit: Photos by Kawasaki One of the worst-kept secrets in motorcycling is now a secret no more: Kawasaki has announced the Ninja ZX-4RR KRT will be coming to the US in 2023, (hopefully) ushering in a revival of 400cc four-cylinder sportbikes that were all the rage in the 1990s. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!
WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
