2012 - Kawasaki Ninja Zx-14 on 2040-motos
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
Kawasaki Ninja description
This pristine 2012 blue ZX-14 is loaded with race parts that look great and improve functionality. The bike has never tipped or crashed. It is prepped for the track, but has never been to the track.
1) Yoshimura carbon fiber exhaust takes 40 lbs. off the original ridiculous exhaust. Makes the bike sound great, but not too loud.
2) HM Annitori quickshifter, the same used on Moto2 race bikes.
3) Michelin Pilot Powers stick much better than stock tires.
4) CRC aluminum racing clutch and brake are beautiful and adjust to all hand sizes.
5) Zero bubble windscreen effective when riding in normal seating position. Stock windscreen included.
6) Minimal license plate mount cleans up the rear of the motorcycle.
7) Clear Stomp Grip hooks your leg in as you carve.
8) Vortex adjustable rear sets grip your boots and let you perfect the ergonomics of the bike.
9) Vortex sliders protect your bodywork from tip-overs or crashes.
10) Protective bar-ends protect your bodywork from tip-overs or crashes.
11) Extra foam eat layer makes all day rides a pleasure. Along with the windscreen, this makes the bike the ultimate distance tourer.
12) Suspension professionally tuned for sport riding.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 Review – First Ride
Tue, 23 Apr 2024Photos by Kevin Wing Photo/Kawasaki Kawasaki has been dominating the realm of entry-level motorcycles, especially with the introduction of the Ninja 400 in 2018. In fact, they were so capable and enjoyable to ride that I bought one myself and it has become one of my favorite motorcycles in my stable. The Ninja 400 wasn't perfect, and I had my gripes about it.
WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
Put a sting in your 2010 Z1000's tail
Fri, 19 Feb 2010SCORPION has released an all-new new silencer for the 2010 Kawasaki Z1000. The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note. This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.
