I bought it new from the dealer in Aug 2012. Half its life was in a garage, the other half was outside, but covered when not in use. I've only ridden it 2k miles. === Comes with 4 years of extended warranty === Roughly four years left on an extended warranty that covers just about everything: engine, transmission, suspension, etc. I paid $1,000 for it at the dealership when I bought the bike; it can be transferred to the new owner (I will pay the transfer fee). === Several aftermarket upgrades === a) R&G Racing Tail Tidy. I replaced the stock tail kit, which is kind of a monstrosity, with a sleek "racing" tail kit. $90 value. I will also give the new owner the stock kit. b) After-market grips: Driven D-3 Alumitech Grips, $50 value c) MotoWerks lowering kit, lowers seat 1", $150 value d) Amanet RLC-40 Red Light Changer, $20 value e) Sato Racing Helmet Lock, $63 value. (This allows you to lock the helmet to the bike, comes with two keys) === All paperwork and spare keys === I have all the paperwork demonstrating I paid $9,703 the day I bought it. Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results
Fri, 07 Jun 2013James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.

Thu, 09 Jan 2014From the News That Sounds Too Good To Be True But, Boy, Do We Hope It Is Department, MWR Air Filters wants riders to know that its MWR High Efficiency Air Filters are breaking new ground in air filtration technology. While the company’s name might not be commonplace among performance oriented riders – yet – some pretty big names are using MWR filters even though the company doesn’t pay sponsorship dollars. According to MWR’s press release, “the reigning WSBK champion, Tom Sykes uses MWR Air Filters in his Kawasaki ZX10R.” Also, 17 riders at the Isle of Man TT were running with MWR filters.
Kawasaki Reveals Electric, Hybrid and Hydrogen-Powered Prototypes
Tue, 08 Nov 2022Electrics coming in 2023, hybrid Ninja to follow in 2024 After presenting an electric prototype last month at Intermot, Kawasaki revealed a range of electric, hybrid, and hydrogen-powered prototypes at EICMA. The alternative energy models are part of Kawasaki’s efforts to reach carbon neutrality, with production models expected to launch in the next two to three years. Most of the prototypes used Kawasaki’s new Go with Green Power logo which will be used on its carbon neutrality efforts.
