2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Sport Bike / Sport Touring Bike This motorcycle has been babied from day one. It has been ridden by a 69 year old rider with 40 years riding experience. The bikes 11,500 rpm ride line has never been seen, actually, I have never had the bike over 8500 rpm. Why the sale of my favorite bike, it's time to move on to 4 wheels, 70 in July. Below is a list of all the modifications, all done professionally. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
Kawasaki May Soon Reveal Naked Ninja 250 for Asia
Tue, 15 Jan 2013Kawasaki will unveil a new naked version of the Ninja 250 this month, reports TMCBlog.com. The Malaysian Indonesian blog first published a sketch back in October of a new motorcycle believed to be a new model based on the Ninjette to be called either the ER250 or the Z250. TMCBlog.com now reports Kawasaki will be announced before the end of January, quoting Freddyanto Basuki, marketing manager of Kawasaki Motor Indonesia.
2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for Engine Stalling Issues
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 because of a risk of the engine stalling during deceleration. No recall has yet been posted for the U.S. though the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, though members of the KawasakiNinja300 forum report they received letters from Kawasaki Motor Corps.
