Kawasaki Ninja description

I am the first owner and purchased this motorcycle brand new less than a year ago.  Turns out motorcycle riding isn't my forte, so my loss is your gain.  Great starter bike.  Clean title in hand and new registration through August 2014.  The 600 mile service was completed by Kawasaki and service records will be provided.  Tires have plenty of tread left.  This bike is completely 100% stock and has never been modified (tank protector is the only aftermarket part).  OEM tool kit, 2 keys and owners manual included.  This is a great commuter bike and achieves an astonishing 60+ MPG.  Local pickup in the LA/OC area available.

Minor cosmetic damage:
- Inner plastic piece below the instrument cluster has a few small scratches on the left side
- Tach and speedo each have one small scratch on the dial
- Front cowl has minor scuffs next to the headlight
- One small minor scratch near the tank protector

The bike is 100% mechanically sound and rides like a charm.  Smooth acceleration and starts up first crank every time.  This vehicle is being offered for sale "as is" (with no express or implied warranties).

Kawasaki Reveals Supercharged Inline-Four Engine

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Kawasaki announced it is developing what it calls the world’s first supercharger developed by a motorcycle manufacturer. The giant Japanese company called on its extensive experience in working with turbine engines, and distilled the technology for motorcycle applications, showing a supercharged Inline-Four engine at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. No details were given on the size of the sample engine, though diagrams included in Kawasaki’s patent applications for motorcycle superchargers include one image that looks vaguely similar to the Ninja ZX-14R.

2014 AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship On The Line At Pomona

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Granted, flat track racing isn’t our specialty at MO, but we’re no doubt fans of the action. See our coverage from the 2012 season finale for proof. The following is from an AMA Pro Racing press release: A total of 15 races over eight months couldn’t separate Jared Mees and Bryan Smith by much.

Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
