Kawasaki Ninja description

This bike has seen better days.  It is partially disassembled, the fairings are off, the muffler is off, and it has a few other things like that you can see in the photos.  I will provide you with everything that i have for the bike.  Please remember it has been sitting as is for several years, so what you see is what you get. The fairings are damaged, the bike doesn't start, but does turn over (when the battery is charged). It does have a new battery, but the battery is currently dead. It is also missing the back seat, but the main drivers seat is there. I believe the issue is compression due to a small crack in the cylinder head that doesn't allow compression.  This bike could be fixed or used for parts.  The bike initially broke down in 2011 while traveling down an interstate, the oil cap was not put on properly and it dumped the oil and after the crack (which was found much later) developed the engine lost power and the bike hasn't been used since. There is extensive damage to the body, but everything on the frame is straight and it could be restored to running condition. If you have any questions I will be happy to provide you with any information that I can.  I have held onto this bike for a long time because i bought it new and didn't want to take a financial loss on it by selling it, but times change and my loss is your gain.  Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping, I am willing to consider dropping off within a one hundred mile radius of my location if we can come to an agreement on compensation, if you want to see the bike in person contact me and ill be happy to show it to you.

One additional note: I have a notary here that can notarize the title at the time of sale/transfer to make it a convenient transaction.

Watch the Kawasaki J Concept Transform – Video

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The transforming Kawasaki J Concept was one of the highlights of the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, thanks to its futuristic styling that was like a cross between a Tron Lightcycle and the Batpod from Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy. The electric three-wheeler is unlikely to enter full production, but it is nice to see some outrageous concept models again. The J Concept was primarily produced to showcase Kawasaki‘s GIGACELL high-capacity nickel-metal hydride battery technology, but the most dramatic feature is the concept’s ability to transform.

Played: SBK 2011

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

The nerves are rising as I sit upon a factory Ducati on the grid at the final round of the WSB championship lined-up against the best riders in the World, the lights are about go out to decide winner… The reality however, is I've been working on my arse groove in the couch, in a darkened room with the remnants of last nights takeaway playing on SBK 2011. SBK 2011 is the next extension in the bike racing game series. The two major modes in the game are the standard career and the SBK Tour.

How to wheelie ten tonnes of Z1300

Tue, 21 Dec 2010

Yes, the video may be old (that's Barry Sheene doing the voice-over) but it's still worth seeing. This mad Fin was the inspiration for every stunt rider you've ever seen. Forget the White Helmets or Dave Taylor, he practically invented stunt riding all by himself.
