Kawasaki Ninja description
I'm selling my Kawasaki Ninja 650r. I've been riding this bike since 2012 and love it. You're welcome to come take a look and hear it run :)
Selling because I just bought a car and looking to buy a boat so could do with the cash! And unfortunately don't have as much time to ride any more. It's an awesome bike though and I encourage you to take a look. Kawasaki Ninja 2008 model 26,000 miles Close to perfect condition for its age - not dropped, couple of scratches (minor - see photos). Back box (case) included - custom fit for the Ninja, professionally installed (worth $400) Brand new battery - just replaced (I replace it once every 2 years due to the AZ heat) New front and rear tires (see photos) Special exhaust - 2 brothers (sounds simply fantastic!) Current registration and taxes paid until Aug 2017. Runs great! :) It is listed as valued at $3600 on KBB. I've listed at $3199 as a reasonable and fair price based upon the minor scratches and additions (e.g. exhaust, new battery and tires and back box that would increase the cost). I am also willing to throw in a $400 value Frank Thomas leather motorcycle jacket if somebody buys the bike by end of this week! |

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips
Fri, 01 Mar 2013CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
Steam Punk Bike
Wed, 19 Jan 2011This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.
It's Official: Kawasaki Announces The 2023 Ninja ZX-4RR KRT
Wed, 01 Feb 2023Kawasakis latest pocket rocket will rev to over 15,000 rpm. Credit: Photos by Kawasaki One of the worst-kept secrets in motorcycling is now a secret no more: Kawasaki has announced the Ninja ZX-4RR KRT will be coming to the US in 2023, (hopefully) ushering in a revival of 400cc four-cylinder sportbikes that were all the rage in the 1990s. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!
