2008 Kawasaki Ninja 1400 (ZX14) - Completely stock - Never dropped, always washed and maintained. - Michelin Road Pilot 4 tires with 3500 miles on them - Rear seat cowl - I replaced the side cover with factory black ones, silver one are in storage. - Has an OEM Kawasaki black tank pad - 2nd owner, bike was purchased new at Glider City in Elmira NY. - Needs nothing but a rider. *mileage may go up as the bike is still insured, registered, and driven occasionally* Must see cash to ride. Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results
Fri, 07 Jun 2013James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.
