This zx-6r is in very good condition. It has been driven recreational in the summer by one adult owner only. I will guarantee the bike has less than 10,000 miles; as the bike needs a battery I cannot turn it on to give the exact mileage. The bike has always been covered when not in use. Kawasaki Recalls 20,512 Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on 2008-2011 Ninja ZX-10R and the 2009-2012 Ninja ZX-6R sportbikes due to a defect affecting the batteries. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator/rectifier on affected units may not sufficiently charge the battery. As a result, the battery may unexpectedly be fully discharged, causing the engine to stall.
WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
