Kawasaki Ninja description
Full on multi award-winning custom show bike. Invited to and attended SEMA in 2013 and featured in the House of Kolor booth, and won the Boston World of Wheels in 2012 & again in 2015, and also featured on the House of Kolor 2014 International calendar (copies included with sale). Specifics of the bike: RC Components Savage wheels (Rear is a 240MM), 8" over PPM Customs 240mm swingarm, custom powder coated matte black parts include the forks, brake rotor carriers, all driver and passenger foot controls, swingarm, etc. All the red parts (brake calipers, mirrors, nitrous bottle, hand grips & levers), were first chromed and then powder coated in translucent red to let the chrome show through. Front forks internally lowered 2", by Trac Dynamics and the bike has a custom low profile oil pan & swinging oil pump, so the bike can be lowered even further for that Pro-street/Drag bike look if desired. Custom Brock's Sidewinder pipe and Power Commander. Custom red braided steel brake lines front and rear. Bike currently has a rear strut, but also comes with a Trac Dynamics custom-valved rear shock built specifically for the swingarm configuration of this bike. Bike also has a custom one-off Scott's adjustable steering stabilizer done in black (the ONLY one ever built), and also comes with 2 brand new custom painted Simpson Street Bandit helmets (1 large, and 1 Medium). Also included in sale are two Pit Bull race stands for storing the bike. The nitrous bottle is currently for show only. Now for the paint: Full custom "Hellbound" themed 200+ hour paint job that includes the severed head of Bin Laden (With the bullet hole over his left eye) being held by Satan on the front windscreen as he motions you in through the gates of Hell, as well as the skulls of Hitler, Stalin, Charles Manson, Al Capone, Jim Jones, Richard Ramirez (The Night Stalker), and John Wayne Gacy on the top of the gas tank. The main image on the top of the tank shows a Demon attacking an Angel. The undertail has an airbrushed image of the Boston Marathon bomber hanging by a "Boston Strong" rope. The theme of the paint job is absolutely NOT to glorify these criminals! This bike has fulfilled a bucket list item for me of having a full-on custom show bike, and now that I have spent the hundreds of hours to build it, it's time for someone else to enjoy it because it's far too nice for me to ride now. Since I've completed the bike it has only been driven once, so the paint and all mechanicals were kept in perfect shape. Bike is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Also, if bids meet reserve (and new owner wants to ride this bike on the street), I will swap out the headlight for a street legal clear unit, and mount the rear shock (mentioned above) at no charge. |

Kawasaki Ninja H2 Teaser Video 7
Fri, 19 Sep 2014In this, Kawasaki’s seventh teaser video for its much-hyped Ninja H2, we get a short (really short) history of Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ history and experience building industrial gas turbines. Why does this matter? Because it’s this extensive background that went in to designing and building the centrifugal supercharger for the H2.
