This is a REAL ZX6RR, with the desireable 600cc engine-not the single 'R' model. This is the 'factory' race version, the 'more desireable' body style of the 'RR' model, with the slipper clutch, adjustable swing arm & tighter race suspension. This bike is in EXCELLENT condition with ALL ORIGINAL paint & plastics. It has been stored indoors its entire life.
There is just so much to list, but its features include:poly frame sliders & spools, passenger foot pegs (not currently installed), factory steering stabilizer, braided steel brake lines, straight pipe exhaust, (have Muzzy Titanium slip on for additional price), fuel injected, Dynojet Power Commander 3 performance tuner, plenty of life on chain & sprocket, brand new tires, brand new inspection, oil just changed this week, only 22k miles-which may increase because I'm still taking it out for rides. I have the clear title, in my name, in hand awaiting sale of bike! This bike has NOT been raced or abused. I bought it from original owner who wanted a 'looker' that sounded good, attracted attention, & was easy to cruise on. I wanted the same, & got it! A few tweaks here & there, a little polish, & boy does it look good & sound good! I didn't intend to, but at Bald Hill last week, it attracted plenty of attention! I will demo for interested parties. Kawasaki has created a new site for the new Ninja at http://www.kawasaki-challenge.com/ with a brief teaser video. Kawasaki has also set up a Twitter feed to reveal more hints about the new ZX-10R.
WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report
Mon, 13 May 2013Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
2013 AMA Supercross St. Louis Race Report
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.
