2002 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R, 2002 NINJA ZX-7R - The NINJA ZX-7R sportbike is the platform upon which Kawasaki’s championship-winning Superbike was built. Featuring racetrack-derived technology, this is the machine behind Doug Chandler’s back-to-back ’96-’97 Superbike titles, which extended Kawasaki’s AMA Superbike Championships to nine, the most won by any single manufacturer. It also carried Chandler and his teammate Eric Bostrom to a number of AMA Superbike victories in 2001, 2000 and 1999. Finally, Kawasaki Drag Racing’s Rickey Gadson is a three-time national champion aboard a Muzzy-prepared ZX-7R in AMA/Prostar Drag Racing. There's a lot of winning history behind the design of this bike and a lot to like. This 2002 Ninja with 27,925 is a blast to ride and will make you smile everytime you twist the throttle. It runs, rides, shifts and looks good. She has a few bumps and bruises along with some scratches but this Ninja still has along life ahead of it. Despite leading all active racers in TT wins, the Superstock victory was just the first in that category for McGuinness. The Honda rider led from start to finish in the four-lap Superstock TT race.
Attack Performance Announces MotoGP CRT Effort
Mon, 09 Apr 2012Attack Performance officially announced it will race in the 2012 U.S. Grand Prix and Indianapolis Grand Prix on a Kawasaki-powered Claiming Rule Team machine. Reports the Huntington Beach, Calif., racing parts manufacturer was granted a wild card to the two American MotoGP rounds surfaced last week, the AMA Pro Racing regular officially confirmed the news just as the 2012 MotoGP World Championship got under way.
2013 Ninjas in New York
Mon, 27 Aug 2012In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
