Kawasaki Ninja description

2002 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R, 2002 NINJA ZX-7R - The NINJA ZX-7R sportbike is the platform upon which Kawasaki’s championship-winning Superbike was built. Featuring racetrack-derived technology, this is the machine behind Doug Chandler’s back-to-back ’96-’97 Superbike titles, which extended Kawasaki’s AMA Superbike Championships to nine, the most won by any single manufacturer. It also carried Chandler and his teammate Eric Bostrom to a number of AMA Superbike victories in 2001, 2000 and 1999. Finally, Kawasaki Drag Racing’s Rickey Gadson is a three-time national champion aboard a Muzzy-prepared ZX-7R in AMA/Prostar Drag Racing. There's a lot of winning history behind the design of this bike and a lot to like. This 2002 Ninja with 27,925 is a blast to ride and will make you smile everytime you twist the throttle. It runs, rides, shifts and looks good. She has a few bumps and bruises along with some scratches but this Ninja still has along life ahead of it. EICMA 2011: Kawasaki Versys 1000 Not Coming to U.S.

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

While Kawasaki unveiled its Versys 1000 at EICMA, don’t expect to see it on American roadways any time soon (edit: but if you live north of the border in Canada you’re in luck, as it will offered for CN$13,999, a bit higher than the Z1000 but the same price as the Ninja 1000): What will we be missing? A bigger, badder version of the original Kawasaki Versys seems to be the answer. “Created as the long-awaited big brother of Kawasaki’s mid-size any-road street surfer, the new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations,” Kawasaki Motors Europe says in a release.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
