Kawasaki Ninja description

This ZX12R 1200 Ninja runs and rides great with a fuel injected 1198cc power plant and a 6 speed transmission, but prior crash damage to the original RF fairing was repaired VERY poorly. The right front and side fairings are rough and would need replacement to make right, along with the right mirror and RF turn signal, but the rest of it is very good for a 12 year old bike. Would make a great stunt bike, a Rat Bike, or fix it up with used parts to make it worth your while and still a bargain. Clean Calif. title with tags into July of 2014, and the Carfax report shows a total loss in 2008. But we double checked with Calif. DMV to confirm it's clean title status.

Wed, 28 May 2014

Jeremy Toye from San Diego, California is no rookie to professional road racing. His accomplishments include setting the fastest lap for a newcomer at the Isle of Man TT in 2006, a third place at the Macau GP, and multiple top-five finishes in AMA Pro Racing competition. Race veteran Toye will compete in the Open Class Division on a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, which will be modified to meet the extreme demands of racing a 12.42-mile course ending at the mountain-top finish.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
