2000 KAWASAKI NINJA 500R
SALVAGE BIKE/REBUILDER BIKE
THIS BIKE HAS BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN LAID DOWN ON THE RIGHT SIDE, BUT ALSO HAS SCRATCHES ON THE LEFT SIDE. IT HAS A NICE AFTERMARKET PIPE ON IT, WHICH HAS SOME SCRATCHES. THE BRAKE PEDAL IS BENT, SO THE BREAKS ARE NOT FUNCTIONAL. THE FRONT FENDER IS CRACKED. THE GAS TANK HAS A SMALL DENT ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THERE IS A BIT OF STICKER RESIDUE AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE PICTURES, BUT THAT DOES COME OFF. THE ENGINE COVER ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS MISSING. ALL OF THE FORKS AND THE SUSPENSION SEEM TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. Randy de Puniet's custom W650
Fri, 16 Dec 2011MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Lightweight TT Results
Mon, 11 Jun 2012Ryan Farquhar earned his third ever Isle of Man TT win in the return of the Lightweight TT class. Absent since the 2009 Isle of Man TT with 250cc machines, the 2012 iteration of the Lightweight class features 650cc twins such as the Kawasaki Ninja 650 (or ER-6F, as it’s known on that side of the Pond) which most competitors rode. The race was moved back to Saturday, June 9, after rain forced organizers to cancel the initially-scheduled Friday race.
Ryan Villopoto Out For 2014 Motocross Title Defense
Tue, 06 May 2014Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto will be unable to defend his 2013 AMA Pro Motocross Championship title after opting to get knee surgery to fix a lingering injury. Villopoto battled with the knee issue throughout the Monster Energy Supercross season, and after consulting his medical team, it was decided he will undergo surgery on his knee as soon as possible. Monster Energy Kawasaki has signed the 2013 Canadian Monster Energy Motocross Nationals Champion Brett Metcalfe to join Jake Weimer for the 2014 AMA Pro Motocross season.
