2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. WSBK: 2012 Miller Results
Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Thu, 22 Aug 2013We met up with Adam Extance motocross champ and son of five time Dakar finisher Mick Extance, whilst on one of their Kawasaki Motocross Experience days in Mansfield. Adam took the Ghost for a lap chasing Bridgestone sponsored 15 year old Rob Yates, a motocross rising star for 2014. Full camera review to follow.
