This is an exceptionally clean bike with low hours and extreme upgrades. After an upgrade by Dirt Rider Magazine, it has been used in photo shoots and rarely ridden. The bike has less than 50 hours on it and has had an hour meter on it from second owner on after a Dirt Rider Magazine upgrade. This is the 06 model, the only year that was offered with the 4 speed transmission. The bike's first owner was one of four chosen by Dirt Rider magazine for a bike upgrade. Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar TT 2 Results
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.
Kawasaki Reports 2012-2013 Results
Wed, 15 May 2013Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a 7.1% increase in net sales from its Motorcycle and Engine business for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. The bump in sales resulted in the division’s first year-end profit since the 2007-2008 fiscal year. The Motorcycle and Engine division, which includes Kawasaki‘s ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines, generated 251.8 billion yen (US$2.462 billion) in sales revenue, up from 235.2 billion yen reported the previous fiscal year.
