Kawasaki KX description
For sale a 2001 KX 65 dirt bike. Just had the engine fixed after I burned the piston rod. (Didn't use synthetic oil) Replaced the internals of the engine and cleaned the carbeurator. I have ridden the bike for about two hours since the replacements and it runs like new. It starts easily for a two stroke. Since the new engine it has started 1st or 2nd kick everytime. I have run Dominator synthetic two stroke oil through it as of late. It has a two little indentions in the seat from an angry mom's fingernails. This bike is quite fast for its size. I am the 2nd owner after buying it in 2004. The previous owner had a son who started riding 4 wheelers instead. It comes with all the paperwork including the manual and a helmet. I will also throw in a grey and black fly handlebar foam cover thing. It's a great 1st bike for someone to grow into. This was my 1st one and I learned to ride it at eight years old. I dont have a trailer but it might fit into the back of our volvo sedan. Id rather not drive it somewhere but I will if I have too. Im buying a bigger bike with the money from this one. Sadly it has gotten a little too small. You are welcome to drive it around my backyard and my neighbor has a small track that would be fine too. Wed, 21 Sep 2011Kawasaki has released another teaser for its upcoming revised ZX-14, now dubbed ZX-14R. In the first video, a couple of numbers are cryptically displayed: 84 x 65mm. This is a thinly veiled reference to its bore and stroke dimensions, indicating the biggest Ninja received a 4mm stroke elongation, which would bump the bike’s displacement from 1352cc to 1441cc.
Schwantz, Tsujimoto Team Up For Yoshimura Legends Team At 2014 Suzuka 8-Hour
Sat, 01 Mar 2014Former 500cc World Champion, Kevin Schwantz, will pair with former Japanese Champion, Satoshi Tsujimoto, in this year’s Suzuka 8-Hour race. The duo originally tackled Suzuka together in 1986, ultimately coming in third position. Now the two are back in celebration of Yoshimura’s 60th anniversary, as part of the company’s “Legend Team.” Yoshimura will also field a second entry with former Australian Champion Josh Waters and All Japan Superbike rider Takuya Tsuda.
