1999 Kawasaki KX250 dirt bike. 250cc liquid cooled two cycle engine. Bike is in attractive shape for the year. There is no cracks or deep scratches in the plastics. The whole engine was just gone through and was done right! New piston, new rod, new crank bearings and seals. The carb has been cleaned and adjusted. Power valves have been serviced. All wheel and suspension bearings have been serviced. Brake fluid changed and new pads. The bike has many aftermarket parts like, hot rods connecting rod, pro circuit suspension link, pro taper bars and grips, pro circuit headpipe and silencer, new rear tire, v force reads, excel black wheels, many more. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
