Kawasaki KX description

1975 Kawasaki KX250

We have here a very nice 1-owner 1975 KX250.

Bike was torn down for a clean up and frame paint several years ago.

Bike has been recently assembled over the last 6 months.

All original front fender, rear fender, side panels and side panel decals!!!

New OEM NOS connecting rod kit, standard bore OEM piston kit, resleeved cylinder, main bearings, clutch plates, gaskets and seals!!

Original wheels/rims/hubs/spokes are in very good shape. Nice and clean. No corroson, stain, rust ETC.

New generic tread knobbies installed. New tubes.

New fork seals. Upper chrome tubes have some small pitting on the way top behind the front # plate. See picture.

Inter-Am gold handlebars with newer grips, kill button and levers. Original cables, throttle and perches

Frame was painted with a single stage gloss black automotive paint some time back. Several little chips and scrathes occured during storage. Still looks very nice. See pictures.

New Vintage Iron replica seat cover. Looks and feels like the original.

New air filter and used but fresh rear carb boot.

New green Clarke mfg gas tank and fuel valve.

Original exhaust in good shape. No real dings or dents. Shows some repair welds towards the rear outer side. See picture. The expansion chamber under the bike looks very nice.

Has 1 chipped off cylinder head fin on the bottom, front left corner. See picture. Cant really be seen unless you get down on the ground.

Bike starts, runs and shifts nicely. Carburates cleanly. Exhaust has a healthy zing to it!

Has new RGY reservoir shocks on it. Looks great!!! Dont be fooled by the Ohlins stickers!!!!!! Shocks are stiff compared to the forks. Standard, time-period correct shocks can be substituted for these ones if reserve is met.

Very nice old bike that has been cleaned up and had the motor rebuilt. It is not perfect. It is nice enough to show, display and ride occasionally or ride it every weekend!!!

No title. Ebay does not provide a "no-title" option in the listing format.

I REPEAT AGAIN ......... NO TITLE.

It's Official: Kawasaki Announces The 2023 Ninja ZX-4RR KRT

Wed, 01 Feb 2023

Kawasakis latest pocket rocket will rev to over 15,000 rpm. Credit: Photos by Kawasaki One of the worst-kept secrets in motorcycling is now a secret no more: Kawasaki has announced the Ninja ZX-4RR KRT will be coming to the US in 2023, (hopefully) ushering in a revival of 400cc four-cylinder sportbikes that were all the rage in the 1990s. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Kawasaki Special Edition Ninja Unveiled

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

In addition to Metallic Diablo Black, Sunbeam Red and Candy Thunder Blue, the 2009 Ninja 250R will be available in a Special Edition Lime Green and Metallic Diablo Black combination. The great-looking paint scheme of the new Special Edition Ninja 250R which features Kawi green with black side panels, echoes the MotoGP ZX-RR. This is a strange time to release such a bike since the British motorsports site Autosport.com recently reported that the Japanese manufacturer will announce its withdrawal from MotoGP racing on Jan.
