Kawasaki KLX description

2011 KAWASAKI KLX140L, Team Greens stepping stone between mini and full-sized off-road machinery. The gap between mini-bike and full-sized machine has traditionally been a wide one. And for novices, making that jump can be difficult indeed. But now theres a motorcycle that bridges the gap nicely Kawasakis KLX 140L. Featuring 19 inch front and 16 inch rear wheels fitted to the standard-spec KLX140, the L-model is the ideal machine for more experienced or longer-limbed fans of smaller displacement machines. And with its more performance-oriented, reservoir-equipped rear shock, theres plenty of performance for everyone. As always, the standard KLX with 17 inch front / 14 inch rear wheels is a first-rate option for novices and smaller riders.

Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.

2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.

Motorcycle Sidecar is Literally a Car

Adjectives fail me.  This almost seems like one of those sci-fi movies where an evil scientist tries to cross two deadly animals together to create the ultimate killing machine. So what are we looking at?  It seems to be the deformed love child of a Citroën Xantia and a Kawasaki 1000 RX. This custom project, called “Snaefell“, cost its creator about 15000 Euros and 10 years of part time work.
