Kawasaki KLX description

2010 KLX140 Dirt Bike, bought brand new for son; went through an ugly divorce & now my wife won't let my son ride the bike! Bike has less than FIVE HOURS of riding time, all on the sidewalk just for practice.
Includes BRAND NEW Helmet & Chest protector vest!
Has been sitting in storage unit, untouched; need to sell ASAP. Make me an offer!

Small-Bike Friendliness, Big-Bike Capability! There's nothing like an off-road motorcycle that does many things well, especially one that fits a wide variety of riders and skill-sets. And with its mid-sized stature, flexible engine and easy-to-ride nature, Kawasaki's 2010 KLX 140 is one such multi-talented machine. Smaller riders will love the KLX's physical size -- a touch larger than a typical minibike -- and push-button starting, while those a bit taller will appreciate the larger-wheeled KLX140L, which features a 19 inch front and 16 inch rear wheel in place of the standard KLX's 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels. 140s are friendly to beginners and novices, yet both offer a roomy cockpit and enough performance and handling prowess to keep more advanced riders smiling.

Will hand deliver (free) to locations 150 miles or less from Fort Campbell, KY/Clarksville, TN (Zip 37042)

ZX-10R inspired by JPS Lotus?

Tue, 10 Jul 2012

Spotted on Kawasaki's Facebook page, this 'Limited Edition' ZX-10R has been created by none other than double-F1 World Champ Emerson Fittipaldi, who is - amongst other things - a Kawasaki dealer in Brazil and who also happened to win his first World Championship in 1972 in a JPS Lotus that had a very similar colour scheme. Fittipaldi started his motorsport career on a motorcycle, aged just 14, before heading to hydrofoils (surely no-one else at world level has ever raced these?!) and then the more traditional route of karting. Question is: what do you think to the paintjob?

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

With an upgraded Öhlins’ Race SCU (Suspension Control Unit), the Öhlins OEM-fitted steering damper on 2013-14 Kawasaki ZX-10Rs can now be ramped up to race mode. The Race SCU is programed to transform the Öhlins Mechatronic, electronically controlled OEM-fitted steering damper on the latest ZX-10R into race mode, allowing it to meet the demands of the track. From the factory, the Öhlins electronically controlled steering damper is tuned to be adaptive to a broad range of street riding, from parking lots to legal speeds.

Kawasaki Elektrode Electric Balance Bike Designs Leak Ahead of Reveal

Thu, 26 May 2022

Full details will be revealed June 7 Last week, Kawasaki dropped a teaser for a new electric two-wheeler, and we uncovered evidence that the teaser is for an electric balance bike called the Elektrode. Kawasaki is set to reveal the Elektrode on June 7 alongside some side-by-side models, but we’ve already got an idea what the balance bike will look like. Japan’s intellectual property office has published designs for a balance bike from Kawasaki, and though it doesn’t say it outright, the designs we can only assume will be for the Elektrode.
