2008 Kawasaki Klx 450R, 2008 Kawasaki KLX450R 725 miles. Street legal, clear title. Never raced. One owner bike, that I purchased new in 2008. I have barely ridden my bike and it has only 725 miles. Only reason for selling is I am getting up there in age and really hate to sell but we need the extra room in the garage. Well Maxxis were bang on with their mileage claims, 6500 miles on the rear and it looks as though there is another 1000. Not bad at all for a set of tyres that cost less than £200. Having lived with the Supermaxx’s Diamonds over the past few months the best thing about these tyres is the mileage range they offer vs cost.

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
