For sale is my 2004 Kawasaki KLX 110 motorcycle. I purchased this for my nephew a few years back and he has rode it about 5 times. I'm short on space at this time and it is not being used. This is the only reason for selling. Bike is a great starter motorcycle with a lot of life left. Bike has new chain, front and rear sprockets. I also believe I put new brake shoes on this bike. Bike is equipped with removable training wheels. Bike is in decent shape with a few issues. Kickstarter does not engage all the time. Bike also smokes. Bike has plenty of power and shifts through the gears flawlessly. Rear fender is cracked but I have a new one included in sale. Tires have plenty of life left. Number plate also has a cracked or two. Bike has clear IL title in previous owner's name. Please see pics and click links of bike being rode around the back yard and down road. Selling as-is, no warranty. Thu, 09 Dec 2010These two beautiful Z1R Kawasakis appeared at the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Custom show last weekend. With one sporting a street/strip look (spot the belly-scraping ride height and rigid rear struts) and the other undergoing a sort of modernisation, they both reminded me just how handsome and unique the original slab-sided Z1R was. Judging by some of the other wild and weird exhibits I made a mental note to myself: must make sure I'm in Japan this time next year.
AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
2014 WSBK – Aragon Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
