Kawasaki KLR description

2008 Kawasaki KLR, What a great all around bike the KLR is we get them in on trade several times a year and they always sell quickly. People keep moving up to BMW???s and while it may not be an F800GS or a R1200GS they are tons of fun and ready for plenty of adventures, riding roads you know well or just commuting around town. This one is super clean and appears to have been very well cared for by the prior owners of which we believe there were two. It???s a great looking paint scheme, this red, silver and black combo as it highlights the aluminum wheels, silver frame and black splash guard and hand guards, seat and controls. This bike is for the most part stock as it was sold when new and with only 6,282 original miles it is a young machine by all standards. It needs nothing as the oil is fresh and the tires were installed by the last owner at about 3,900 miles and show plenty of solid, well balanced tread as you can see in the images. This one comes with Maryland State Inspection, one spare key, the standard factory tool set and the owner???s manual and is priced to move.

2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Homologated for AMA Pro Racing Despite 636cc Displacement

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been homologated for AMA Pro Racing, making it eligible for the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes for 2013. The news comes as a bit of a surprise as those classes typically consist of Inline Four racebikes with a displacement smaller than 600cc. The new Ninja ZX-6R immediately carries a displacement advantage over its I-4 competition in the class such as the Honda CBR600R, Suzuki GSX-R600 and Yamaha YZF-R6.

ZX-10R. Worth the weight?

Thu, 18 Nov 2010

The whisper on pit lane is that 2011 will be a good year for the green K. Our moles within the racing circles tell us that apart from more power and less weight (always handy), the new ZX-10R's main advantage is not these two factors but rather its improved weight distribution, weight transference qualities and grip levels. Studying Tom Syke's lap time data from Kawasaki's public test sessions it seems it's much easier for him to maintain consistent fast lap times back-to-back over the whole range of tyre degradation and fuel load changes.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

Mon, 06 May 2013

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.
