Kawasaki KLR description

2005 Kawasaki Klr 650, Got a wild hair on my 40th birthday and bought this 2005 KLR650. It has been mostly street ridden and only a little off road. The bike is in fantastic shape and runs great. Last year I had the carburetor replaced and have ran only non-ethanol gas in it since. The bike has been fun, and definitely a gas saver for me when I do ride the bike. On pretty days like today I am going to miss it, but I don't ride the bike as much as I once did and recently bought some land so my priorities have changed and I can use the money more than the bike. Whoever gets this bike will be pleased with its condition. For an eight year old dual sport I would consider it in great shape, showing only signs of normal wear: paint is a little faded, small scratches on tank and trim, and rubber on foot pegs shows wear. The tires are only two years old with maybe 1000 miles of use. The bike doesn't smoke, cranks easily, and shifts smoothly. The battery is about a year old and I have a battery tender installed. I am including a tail bag and helmet if you want it. I am pricing it to sell quickly, so if you are looking for a great dual sport at a great price I don't think you'll be disappointed in this one. $2,900.00 4783961090

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).

Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.

Mackenzie Tricker Looks To Pad WMX Points Lead At Glen Helen Raceway Sunday

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Having won the opening two rounds of the 2014 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) – at the AMA sanctioned Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, and at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker comes into this weekend’s race at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, with momentum on her side and a 17-point lead in the series standings. Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. So far, Tricker has won three of the four motos held to date, and the Yamaha-backed rider is hoping to pad her lead in the series standings with a good finish this weekend.
