The bike has been sitting and I fear the worst. I think that the motor is kaputt. It will start with a new battery, but sounds like you're blending a wedding ring. It has a low end knock, but for the price it's worth fixing. New mono-snock, wiring, high performance sprocket and it's water cooled. Tires are in attractive condition. Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT
Thu, 30 Jun 2011Kawasaki is issuing a recall on the 2011 Vulcan Classic LT tourer due to a risk of damage to the tires’ inner tubes. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inner tubes on some Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT models may become pinched near the valve stem during mounting. In some cases, this may result in a loss of air pressure.

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.
