Kawasaki KLR description

I have charged the battery up and she is holding a charge just fine. The electric start system works perfectly and it also has the provisions for a kick start pedal. The bike runs fantastic, just a little choke and she purrrrs. The bike is too tall for me and I have a heck of a time getting my 56 year old hip to cooperate with getting off and on. So if you are a shorter person this bike would have to be lowered for you. The inside of the fuel tank is clean and I have filled with Non-Oxy gas. The tires are in very nice condition(more like super moto design than knobby). I see no evidence of the bike being mistreated or layed down. The bike looks good from any angle(as the pics show) The bike has loads of torque and would of left my old DR650 in the dust for sure!! The blue seat does have some dicoloration areas(like there might have been some sort of sticker or velcro at some time for some reason),there are no tears and the seat is very comfortable. I have a trailer and can deliver within 50 miles of Mpls,or you could choose to ride her home!! I have a clear MN title. If you have any questions or concerns please email me,and I will reply promtly(thanks)

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

Do WSB bikes need fake headlights?

Mon, 02 Jul 2012

Next year's WSB bikes must carry fake headlight stickers to make them look like their road-going equivalents – and Kawasaki previewed the new look at yesterday's race at Aragon. The idea is to add to WSB's road bike links and to further distinguish the bikes from the latest breed of CRT MotoGP machines. However, it means adding meaningless stickers on a large and potentially valuable acreage of prime sponsorship space on the bike's nose, with much of the rest already taken up by the rider's number; not necessarily a good thing when money is already hard to find in international racing.

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

Electrics coming in 2023, hybrid Ninja to follow in 2024 After presenting an electric prototype last month at Intermot, Kawasaki revealed a range of electric, hybrid, and hydrogen-powered prototypes at EICMA. The alternative energy models are part of Kawasaki’s efforts to reach carbon neutrality, with production models expected to launch in the next two to three years. Most of the prototypes used Kawasaki’s new Go with Green Power logo which will be used on its carbon neutrality efforts.
