2000 Concours;  1000cc, Red,  in good shape for age, all bags included, never down, runs Ok after warmup.  Carbs could use a cleaning.  Small scratches but no dings.   friction cruse control,  grip warmers,  rubber is good, cover included, oil & air filter recently changed.  Clear title,  Local pick up only...Mid-cities DFW Texas. Kawasaki Confirms New Z1000 Arriving at 2013 EICMA Show

Kawasaki confirmed it will introduce a new Z1000 on Nov. 5 during the 2013 EICMA show in Milan. Team Green has been running a teaser campaign for the new Z for a couple of weeks now, so this isn’t exactly surprising news, except to confirm the new model will continue to use the Z1000 designation.

However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
