FAQs 

1.  Are you a dealer or private seller?

We are a licensed and bonded dealer and have been in business for over 20 years. We also use licensed and bonded dealers nationwide as well as brokers who possess special salvage bid cards that your average dealer may not have.

2.     Do you accept PayPal? If not, why do you not accept it?

    Unfortunately we do not accept Paypal. We do have alternate forms of submitting a deposit to reserve the vehicle you've recently won such as Direct Cash Deposit or Bank Wire Transfer. Please find all Account and Routing details in the Payment section below

    In the event you are unable to make FULL Payment required in the time allotted, we kindly ask you to submit a Deposit via Bank Wire transfer in the amount of $500 to secure your vehicle.

     Can I pick up the vehicle and pay for it myself at the holding facility?

    Yes, many of our customers happen to choose this option if they are located near a particular facility. Simply put, if you decide to exercise the option to pay at the holding facility with a bank check you must address ALL refunds with that facility. We are not responsible for any refunds for checks that are given to the facilities direct. 

     What happens if I arrive at the facility and I see that the vehicle is missing parts, its not what it seemed to be in the images, it was tampered with, keys are missing etc.?  What should I do?

    We advertise all of our vehicles on an AS IS basis.  If for any reason you receive a vehicle that is completely inaccurate from its description (ie, VIN, Run & Drive, Gasoline or Diesel, Clean or Salvage Title) please contact our offices and we will assist you in an exchange or a refund depending on which payment method was applied. As far as keys are concerned, neither do the auctions nor do we guarantee keys. For those customers that retrieve the vehicles from the facility, please be aware once the gate release has been issued, and the vehicle has left the yard, NO REFUNDS will be accepted. In this circumstance, we can only help you resell it with reserve prices at auctions to come the following weeks at the same facility through our licensed and bonded broker accounts. 

     Is it worth buying a salvage repairable vehicle?

    The answer is yes, the salvage industry is a billion dollar industry. People around the world purchase vehicles to rebuild. Certain states have stricter rebuilt title laws than others. Some states register parts only vehicles when others do not. There is no rhyme or reasoning why a vehicle with light damage has a salvage title and a vehicle with serious damage has a clean title. Over the years we have learned to accept what the insurance companies offer in particular states. Please be aware of this process, research your state laws and the cost of parts and labor, then make your decision. We simply offer the best vehicles, the best prices and our customers do turn a profit and buy countless vehicles, whether for a hobby or for a viable source of income. We also offer re-marketing for our customers as well, and will assist in re-selling any vehicle. 

     Does the vehicle look like the pictures?

Yes, the photos are provided to us by the holding facility of the actual vehicle using a digital camera. Our photos are NEVER photo shopped. Please feel free to present our images to a local repair shop to obtain fair and reasonable repair estimates.  WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET!

3.   Where is the vehicle?

Vehicles are stored nationwide at holding facilities and insurance auctions that store and/or resell vehicles for the insurance companies through Buy Now, live auctions, online auctions, sealed bid auctions, pure sale auctions and reserve bid auctions.

4.   How long will it take to get my title?

     Typically, titles take about 10 to 15 business days to be mailed after the vehicle has been  released. Our title department processes titles weekly. For more information please  contact our customer service team at 1-302 595 9090.

5.   How long will it take to get a gate release after I have paid for my vehicle?

Gate releases may take 5 to 10 business days to acquire prior to picking up any vehicle from the holding facility. Once payment has been received the insurance company and/or auction will need to process payment accordingly. Once a gate release is issued, the vehicle may be dispatched through our preferred transportation company EZhaul.co or any transportation company of your choice.

1.    Can an Insurance Company decide to take back the vehicle after it has been paid for?

    Yes, this may happen in rare occasions. If for any reason the auction or sale is cancelled, your purchase amount will be refunded immediately. At the same time our inventory is endless where there is always a replacement vehicle to meet your specific needs.

2.    If I receive a vehicle and am unhappy with it, will you assist in reselling?

    Yes, we will be more than willing to assist in finding a holding facility near your location to resell on the market. We have a global audience bidding on these vehicles. Our team will help you find a replacement as well, if needed. Kindly keep in mind, if you are bidding on vehicles we offer, please understand our descriptions are brief and in most cases we are unable to physically inspect all of them.

3.   Where do you get your vehicles?

Our vehicles are acquired through our insurance company and auction contracts. We also have data agreements with some of the largest publicly traded Insurance Company Holding Facilities and Auctions. Lastly, we purchase and re-market vehicles that were acquired through our cash for cars program as well.

4.   Does the vehicle have a clean title?

Our vehicles that state "clean title" do in fact possess a clean title status. All others do possess "Salvage" status if noted. Please note, each State has different laws. We strongly encourage buyers to check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles. Most vehicles we market have branded or salvage titles due to accidents, floods, manufacturer buybacks, theft, etc.

5.   What form of payments do you accept?

    We DO NOT accept PayPal. We only accept bank checks, cash deposits or wire transfers.

    The balance must be paid with cashier’s check, bank check or wire transfer within two business days of winning the vehicle.

    The Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of the vehicle from the storage facility.  If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly help you with the process.

We describe our vehicles as accurately as possible.  This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle and to have satisfied, himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid accordingly.  The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle.  The seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. Please understand that this is a salvage vehicle and any potential repairs are to be incurred solely on my own since all vehicles are sold “AS IS” with no warranty or guaranty. 

Terms & Conditions

 Payment

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time.  A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction end.  The remaining balance is due within 2 days of auction end.  Payments must be made by wire transfer or certified check.  Credit card payments for remaining balance will not be accepted.  NO EXCEPTIONS. 

If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle and sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.  Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 10 years or with more than 100K miles.  Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle BEFORE bidding. Please arrange financing PRIOR to bidding.

 Shipping and Pickup

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of the vehicle and all costs associated with the pickup or shipping of the vehicle.  If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly assist with the process. You may also use our preferred shipping companies www.HaulMatch.com or EZhaul.co who will give you an instant quote, having very competitive rates  or call them toll free 1 302 595 9090.  Payment MUST be made PRIOR to picking up the vehicle or simultaneously at our facilities.  The insurance holding facilities require full payment within48 hours after closing by wire if you are not picking up the vehicle at the facility.  **If you wish to drive a salvage vehicle in the USA, it must pass a salvage inspection in the state you wish to register the vehicle.

*Note: There is a $75 daily storage fee charged by the insurance holding facility for any vehicle not picked up within 48 hours of auction end.

Bidders

We reserve the right to end any listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. Please do not bid/buy unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. All non-paying bidders/buyers will be reported to eBay, and a negative strike will go against the buyer as the result of an unpaid item being filed.  PLEASE ONLY BID/OFFER WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY.  If the reserve is not met or the vehicle is not sold, we reserve the right to contact the next highest bidder to offer a second chance offer.
