The Vulcan 900 Classic is definitely the bike to get noticed on, with its spoke wheels, low-slung seat and chrome dual slash-cut mufflers. And for those looking for an even more distinctive look, the Vulcan 900 Classic Special Edition exudes badass with a new for 2012 black-out treatment on the forks, fender struts, air cover, engine covers and cases and cylinders and valve covers. A beautiful two-tone Pearl Meteor Gray / Polar White paint job is enhanced by a checkered flag pinstripe. Completing the Special Edition look are chrome pipes and whitewall tires, for the ultimate in retro flair. It’s powered by a 903 cc engine, just like its 900 Vulcan brethren. This powerplant offers excellent performance and smooth roll-on acceleration. Rider floorboards complete with a heel and toe shifter enhances rider comfort. 2013 AMA Supercross Indianapolis Race Report
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto continues to be in championship form, taking his third consecutive victory and sixth of the season with a win at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Indianapolis round of the 2013 AMA Supercross Championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a calculated, methodical race to take the win and expand his championship lead to nine points ahead of Davi Millsaps. Millsaps took the holeshot in a chaotic start to the main event that saw several riders go down at the opening corner.

Fri, 16 Dec 2011MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.
Kawasaki Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Kawasaki reported a net profit of 33.7 billion yen (US$441.9 million) for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2011, but its motorcycle and engine division continues to operate at a loss. The motorcycle and engine division, which also includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and power products, operated at a loss of 4.58 billion yen (US$60.1 million) over the first three quarters of Kawasaki‘s 2011-2012 fiscal year, including a loss of 2.2 billion yen (US$28.9 million) in the third quarter alone.
