Kawasaki Vulcan description
Outstanding Vulcan Nomad 1700! Great Touring Bike on the highway and great looking cruiser around town.
The Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Nomad is a touring bike at heart and can also be used for around town and cruising the streets. The nice thing about the touring is the electronic cruise control that maintains your speed for comfort so you do not need to hold the throttle down for the endless miles you want to ride. With the 1700cc V-twin engine and six-speed transmission, distance is not a problem. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!
