2011 KAWASAKI VULCAN 900 CLASSIC LT CLEAN & ONLY 2300 MILES! A LIKE NEW BIKE WITHOUT THE NEW BIKE PRICE!! This motorcycle comes dressed with all the customary touring design touches that one would expect in a tourer - stylish saddlebags, a chromed brass studded seat that matches the passenger backrest, an adjustable windscreen, and passenger backrest that will keep your favorite person happy. These features are combined with an impressive powertrain, making the Vulcan 900 Classic LT a no-frills cruiser that has a bite as potent as its bark. Speaking of its design, the Classic LT’s touring package features top-grain, reinforced cowhide saddlebags that have been carefully selected to minimize flaws and deep-dyed to prevent scraping off the finish. These bags feature a slant-top opening held shut by two 1.5" wide leather straps fitted with chrome buckles and stealth quick-release fasteners. The rolled and riveted top lids, along with metal reinforced upper edges on the bags, help maintain shape and keep unwanted moisture out of the bags. An embossed Vulcan logo on the reinforced dual-panel lids and chrome-plated brass studs finish off their look. When it comes to the bike’s powertrain, the Vulcan 900 Classic LT doesn’t carry peanuts to go with its stylish design. What it does have is the same engine the Vulcan 900 Classic possesses: a 903cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-cylinder V-twin engine that rolls out 58 lb/ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. Anybody who thinks that the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT is just an iteration of the Vulcan line-up is sorely mistaken. Brammo Electric Motorcycles Eligible to Race Against Gas-Powered Bikes in AFM
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Electric Brammo motorcycles will share the grid with gas-powered motorcycles in American Federation of Motorcyclists competitions. The AFM, America’s oldest motorcycle road racing body, announced Brammo riders can compete head-to-head for championships against those riding internal combustion engine motorcycles. The Brammo Empulse R, Empulse TTX and Empulse RR will be eligible for competition.

Thu, 26 Apr 2012A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.
2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
