If you are looking to cruise in absolute style and comfort this summer, you just found your ride. For sale is a totally gorgeous 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic Limited! This bike features all the trimmings! There is a windshield in the front and a sissy bar back rest for your passenger's full comfort in the back. The Vulcan leather saddle bags each feature two 1.5" wide leather straps fitted with chrome buckles and quick-release fasteners. There's even a small bag up front next to the mini tachometer and there's plenty of rubber to get you down the road! Check out the Flame Stitch Gel Seat -- kick ass comfort with a bad ass look!
This bike is nearly as clean as new with almost no noticeable imperfections. It has just over 15,000 miles and is ready to ride off into the sunset today. It runs well and has a full tank of gas. The 903cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-cylinder V-twin engine features 58 lb/ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. This bike has plenty of power and stability to get you where you want to go. The chrome looks fantastic from the dual mufflers to the headlights. Everything is clean as can be. This bike will not disappoint -- it needs nothing and looks like a million bucks. That said, it's a used motor vehicle and is for sale as-is. You are welcome and encouraged to come check out this terrific motorcycle in person to inspect it. I am located in Stamford, NY in the beautiful Catskill mountains. The title is free and clear and in my name -- no liens, no damage. I am happy to provide any more specific pictures you'd like as well as upload video so you can hear it. I may be willing to meet within a reasonable distance and I am happy to help you coordinate shipping at your expense -- I've had experience shipping this type of item and it is often less expensive and faster than you'd think. With the windshield, tachometer, saddlebags, and gel seats, the NADA value on this bike is nearly $7,000. I'm asking $5900 OBO. Make me an offer today and let's get you on the road! A nonrefundable deposit of $500 will be due via PayPal within 48 hours of the item end with the balance due within 7 days via cash in person at my bank or via bank wire. I love my foreign friends, but I will not ship this bike internationally. The motorcycle is stored under cover in our barn and can be picked up at your leisure. I'm happy to help your shipper load the bike and would be happy to overnight you the paperwork as soon as I've received complete payment for no additional charge. Feel free to message me with any questions prior to buying. Thanks for looking! |

2011-2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Recalled for Crankcase Oil Leak
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2011 and 2012 Ninja ZX-10R due to a potential oil leak in the crankcase. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, engine oil may leak from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R‘s crankcase from a machined area where the starter is mounted. Leaked oil may pool on top of the crank case and, under continued use, spill onto the rear tire, reducing traction and increasing the risk of a crash.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
