Only 4k miles, looks and runs like a brand new bike, absolutely nothing wrong with it, no scratches, no dents, never been dropped, no mechanical problems, starts right up every time, and I have a clear title in hand. The Special Edition takes the mechanical blueprint of 903 cc liquid cooled V-twin, five gear transmission, belt drive, 300 mm front/270 mm rear twin-piston disc brakes and adds a bit of flair. The pipes are blacked-out, as are the air cleaner and engine cases. "Aggressive Orange" valve covers dress the engine. The body gets a mean-looking coat of Ebony flat black paint, with intricate tribal orange and white pinstriping to add to the custom look and feel. The Custom trim level comes with 41 mm front forks at a 33ยบ rake/7.2" of trail, a 21" cast front wheel and 15" cast rear wheel. Rear suspension is Softail-style single-shock, hidden under the seat for a hardtail look. Slightly forward-set footpegs and a gunfighter-style seat contribute to the sporting cruiser look. Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 30 Jun 2014On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
